⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟/54。5/5🌶🌶🌶🌶/5✨review✨ OH… MY… GOD。 i think i’m obsessed with rory。 i LOVE the women protagonist， she’s sweet and a badass， she’s perfection。 Angelo is possessive and i am here for it。 love him， love the book， and i love the plot。 😍troupes😍age gapmafia📚overall， highly recommend to those who like mafia books， but if you’re looking for tons of hardcore smut， this book isn’t it in my opinion。 if you’re good with lots of tension eventually being released， then read this book。

if you want to read a book that’s incredibly similar to the sweetest oblivion by danielle lori， yea this is it。a little background info LOL: I’ve been in the biggest book slump ever。 trying to pick up a book recently has felt like a chore and I really wanted to read something dark and not too long to get me back on my book grind 💪🏽 sinners anonymous was genuinely a very entertaining book。 I kept wanting to read more and more & I was pretty invested in the characters。 of course this doesn’t mean if you want to read a book that’s incredibly similar to the sweetest oblivion by danielle lori， yea this is it。a little background info LOL: I’ve been in the biggest book slump ever。 trying to pick up a book recently has felt like a chore and I really wanted to read something dark and not too long to get me back on my book grind 💪🏽 sinners anonymous was genuinely a very entertaining book。 I kept wanting to read more and more & I was pretty invested in the characters。 of course this doesn’t mean the book was great in all aspects， I actually had so many disagreements & icks with a lot of the scenes， but nonetheless， this book was very entertaining and if ur in the mood to read a mafia book， I do recommend this one。HOWEVER， there were a couple flaws that kind of just… turned me off in a sense。 so many the sweetest oblivion similarities？？: i am a SUCKER for the made series by danielle lori。 I seriously can’t tell u how many times I’ve reread the first 3 books of the series。 especially the sweetest oblivion since it is admittedly one of my top favorites。 I know it like the back of my hand …。 and I also can distinguish so many of the scenes from the book that are too similar to some in sinners anonymous。 for example， there’s a scene in sinners anonymous where both angelo & rory （main characters） share a cigarette。 now this isn’t unknown in bad boy romances， but the dialogue is too fucking similar to the sweetest oblivionthe sweetest oblivion: “I took the cigarette from him， and he watched me as I brought it to my lips and inhaled。 The coughing was instantaneous， my eyes watering。”“I watched him put his lips on the cigarette where mine had been。 Thank God it was dark， because my cheeks grew hot。 This man had barely said anything to me that wasn’t rude， short， or demanding， yet my body reacted to everything he did like it was magic。 Che palle。 I was crushing on my future brother-in-law。He handed it back to me。 “Not so much this time。”sinners anonymous: “Immediately， the back of my throat starts to burn， and I drop the cigarette in the sand in the middle of my coughing fit。 I can barely hear his chuckle over the sound of my own labored breaths。 “Jesus Christ，” I wheeze， tilting my head back against the brick wall。”“Watch me。” As if I ever do anything else these days。 He slips it between his lips and takes a slow， sensual drag。 This time， he has the courtesy to blow the smoke out above my head。 I feel mildly disappointed。 “Here。” He hands it to me。 “Not so much this time， magpie。”- “not so much this time” like？？？？ isn’t that too familiar？？ I know I’m not going crazy。 & that wasnt the only scene where I was like …。 🤔 In sinners anonymous rory is inexperienced in sex and wants to give angelo some lovin down there。 It’s her first time…。just as it was elena’s first time giving nico head… but again， it’s all about the dialogue and how it’s structuredthe sweetest oblivion: “You gonna stare at my crotch all day or take it out？”sinners anonymous: “You going to suck my cock， baby？” he whispers， studying my features。 “Or are you going to sit there like a deer caught in headlights all day？”& when Angelo shot Max because he couldn’t stand how he touched Rory …。 Just like when Nico shot his cousin bc he had a gun to Elena’a head。 the environment of both scenes were so familiar too。 - there’s a couple more similarities but I’m sure u get the idea。 I wished there was some more original scenes in the book rather than some copy paste TSO scenes you know？ but anyways…。 onto characters Angelo: okay honestly， I don’t mind a brooding， cold， stoic， “I hate everyone but you” male lead character， i feign for them actually， but angelo was so insufferable sometimes that it honestly made me so mad。 I hated the consistent slut shaming like I know this the “mafia” but PLEASE THE SLUT SHAMING WAS SO POINTLESS。 the consistent assumptions he kept making too like bro MAKE A MOVE。 COMMUNICATE。 ugh and honestly this IS pretty similar to TSO too bc the miscommunication was so ASS in that book as well。Aurora/ Rory: truthfully I didn’t have a huge problem with rory。 I liked her bold personality， & humor。 though sometimes I couldn’t stand the “I’m rory。 And I do bad things。” Like at first I was very intrigued and genuinely thought that maybe she had killed someone or was legitimately associated with the mafia in a sense， but the “bad things” ended up being little rebellious acts that were hardly considered “bad” in my opinion。 the bird cussing was also cute …。 but to an extent。 like shorty will literally be having the best sex of her live and then all the sudden “Oh Flamingos！” …。 yeah it really killed the mood sometimes。- the slow burn was…very slow: honestly I love slow burns。 I love reading the journey of a couple at a slow pace， but when I was balls deep into this book and rory and angelo STILL hadn’t kissed I was genuinely annoyed。 especially when they hadn’t kissed even after Alberto was out of the picture。 like what exactly are we waiting for？？？ - AND I CANT WAIT TO READ ABOUT GABE AND RAFE。 ugh literally so excited。anyways， despite all that， this book had an intriguing plot and it was genuinely entertaining， so yes， I do recommend 💪🏽 。。。more

Really really loved the majority of this book。 The build-up and tension was amazing。 The characters were great and I thought it was a good intro to the series。 The last 15% of the book tainted the story for me as I found it boring and too long。 Also， the weird bird puns really got to me at some point。 Overall really liked it！

Fun read！ But I wish there were fewer scenes with Alberto （bc he was so disgusting it made me so uncomfortable -and I know it was the whole point。。。） and that it took Angelo less time to get Rory out of this situation。。 :/Still excited for book 2！！！

Really good！The first half of this book was a little slow- but the second half made up for it。 The idea behind sinners anonymous is really cool。 I think this was a good introduction to all the future characters we will see， and I loved Rory and Angelo。 I just wish we got more of them actually being together。 I will definitely be continuing with this series。
